The 9 enterprises did not go through the "EIA" examination and approval procedures and were allowed to enter the production without authorization.

The Municipal Environmental Protection Bureau ordered it to stop construction and production.

It is understood that the Longquan garment washing Industrial Park was built in 2003, including the first and two phases, of which two projects were completed and put into operation in 2008.

Although there are wastewater treatment facilities in the park, failures often occur in operation, resulting in excessive effluent discharged into Jianning port and seriously affecting the quality of Jianning port.

In particular, the two phase of the project has not been approved by the environmental protection department of the provincial environmental protection department.

In 2009, the relevant documents were issued, requiring that the project should not be put into production or use until the approval of the EIA has been obtained. However, 9 enterprises in the two phase of the project, such as Feida washing and bleaching plant, are still unauthorized in production.

In accordance with the relevant provisions of the regulations on environmental protection and management of construction projects, the Municipal Environmental Protection Bureau has issued prior notification and hearings to the 9 enterprises in accordance with the law.

This also means violation of environmental laws and regulations and excessive discharge of pollutants.
