According to its introduction, Brazilians' work in Dongguan basically belongs to the provision of "intermediate services". Most of them do not own their own factories. Instead, they use rich shoemaking experience to provide quality monitoring and product design for foreign ordering businesses and OEM shoe factories in Dongguan.

The 25 year old Brazilian, Jean, from Brazil's Rio Grande Dezhou, is the marketing manager of the icannon shoe industry in Dongguan, and many of them come to Dongguan.

At present, there are more than 3000 Brazilians working in the footwear industry in Dongguan. Insiders say that 3000 of Brazilians gathered behind Dongguan is the shift of shoemaking industry.

The driving force of Brazilians comes from the continuous pfer of the modern industrial international industrial chain.

Hongkong Creative Design Co., Ltd. (CGA), Dongguan representative office brand development director, explains that Brazil has always been the core area of footwear exports. In the mid 90s of last century, because of the substantial appreciation of Brazil currencies, the cheap production from China constituted a great competitive pressure on the region, so the Brazil footwear industry began to move to China.

Ivor Lado said that although most of the shoe factories in Brazil are still in the country, shoemaking talents are continuously flowing to China, India and Indonesia, especially Dongguan.
