In this season's design inspired by the undersea world, Iris van Herpen is trying to create the vastness and mystery of the deep sea in 3 aspects: color, texture and profile. White, ivory yellow, brown, ray gray and dark metal color are mainly tonal to paste the color of near underwater creatures. And the material she chooses is white or beige.
In this season's design inspired by the undersea world, Iris van Herpen is trying to create the vastness and mystery of the deep sea in 3 aspects: color, texture and profile. White, ivory yellow, brown, ray gray and dark metal color are mainly tonal to paste the color of near underwater creatures. Besides the white or beige base fabric, leather, and strong reflective fabrics, she also used many transparent films, wires and PVC fibers which were rarely used in fashion production. The structure of Iris van Herpen's writing is that we can never use ancient or classical backtracking to explain it, because it is the world we have never heard of before. The complicated spiral shaped transparent films are arranged in rows, like the mysterious underwater creature condensing in the water. The hard deadwood beetle skeleton skirt and the skirt made of the metal like the octopus tentacles are small sculptures. And Liu Wen's cloak, which shimmers the electric light, is the devil fish with a dark light on the bottom of the sea.
