MIIT: Textile Production In 1-10 2019

In 2019 1-10, the industrial added value of textile enterprises above designated size increased by 2.4% compared to the same period last year, and the growth rate dropped by 0.6 percentage points over the same period last year. Among them, the growth rate of industrial added value of chemical fiber industry has increased, which has increased by 11.5% in 1-10 months, and 3.3 percentage points higher than that in the same period last year. The growth of industrial added value of textile and garment industry has slowed down, with the growth rate of 7.2% and 1% respectively, 1-10 percentage points lower than that of the same period last year, and 1.2 percent and 3.8 percentage points lower than that of the same period last year. In the 1-10 month, the output of chemical fiber was 49 million 570 thousand tons, an increase of 12.8% over the same period last year, and the output of cloth was 40 billion meters, down 2% from the same period last year. The output of garments was 20 billion 300 million, down 0.8% from the same period last year.
