According to the preliminary analysis of the competitiveness evaluation results of China's textile and clothing enterprises from 2009 to 2010, it is found that despite the impact of the international financial crisis, the overall competitiveness of the shortlisted enterprises continues to improve, and presents five characteristics: First, the level of enterprise efficiency has improved compared with the last Top 500 enterprises. Second, competitive enterprises play an important role in supporting the industry. Third, the innovation ability of the central and western regions is outstanding. Fourth, the top 10 (top 20) competitive enterprises in various industries have made great efforts to improve their production level by increasing R&D efforts and improving innovation level, which has greatly improved their profit margins. Fifthly, the achievements of energy conservation and consumption reduction of enterprises with competitive advantages in various industries have been further consolidated.
